Gillian Cox is a painter in oils, who enjoys exploring her feelings for her art: those experiences from within, in concert with the simplicities & sensitivities of the subject matter she has chosen.
Many of her works are explorations drawn upon her imagination alone, with a strong sense of narrative & reason.
These thoughts, once expanded, take rapid oil paint form upon the canvas surface.
Each of her oil paintings is an individual, one-off impression without repetition. Once completed, she will move on to the next art brief that occupies her.
Having lived in Spain, Switzerland, Edinburgh and London, Gillian currently lives in Cheltenham with her husband Tony.
